Living here in New Mexico I have often wondered why it seems all the beautiful, green, lush, mountainous landscape seemed to be saved and boxed up in a state called COLORADO. One of our favorite beautiful spots in Colorado is Durango. The past few summers as we have gotten sick of the dry heat and beige surroundings we have ventured North to spend so time in "Colorful Colorado" and it never disappoints!

Georgi found this Ladybug and named her "Black polka-dottie". She wanted to keep her for a pet....that lasted about 30 minutes. I felt bad for the poor bug and convinced Georgi to let her fly home to her family.....and not 5 minutes later another ladybug landed on Georgi's arm....she named it "Black polka-dottie" too!
